Snuggled up in a Super 8 Motel parking lot Sat. night near Kingsport, TN (I-81). Loaded up and on the road at 9:45 Sunday am. Kind of cloudy, but we're already liking the warmer temps.

The dreaded beep
Oh, no the Pressure Pro is beeping...something's going on with a tire. Yup, right rear...the one we had fixed in Charleston, WV on Saturday. The mechanic has put a plug and patch but said it might not hold since it is so close to the edge. Guess he knew what he was talking about. Oh, well a good try. (It's all Dave's fault - found a half a cotter pin in the tire - probably from his driveway.) Luckily we were able to pull immediately into a rest area. Put on a spare in no time...we've got it down to a real system! LOL
A couple more hours and we arrived at Mike and Stormy's Walhalla, SC home. Diesel, Stormy's german shepherd dog, greeted us warmly as did our hosts. Got set up in their driveway, had happy hour, wonderful homemade soup and cheesy bisquits...perfect supper!
Going to do a motorcycle ride today to get familiar with the area and see a waterfall. First try out breakfast at a local diner they've been wanting to check out! Sounds like a great day....to be high 60's today! Yippee.
